The cottage was everything that we expected and more. It was lovely to find a bottle of wine and a vase of flowers in the kitchen to welcome us. The living room with the open fire was very cosy in the evenings.

Marris Cottage is in an amazing setting, the views are wonderful and we appreciated the wildlife all around. A good area for safe walking in beautiful countryside, just bring the wellies. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations from the web site images - the beds were very comfortable and the two en-suites are a good idea. The heating system was very efficient with plenty of hot water to enjoy long soaks in the bath. We would love to stay again and would recommend it to couples and families.

A beautiful, well loved and well kept cottage that is comforting and cosy. The coal fire was great and the accommodation was lovely, it had a very calm feel about it.
